You Can Help Send the Angels to the Nationals!
The Abbotsford Angels Peewee “AAA” 13U Summer All-Star team is seeking sponsorship donations. Peewee “AAA” is a summer representative baseball program for players aged 13 and under.
On August 3 the Angels won the Peewee “AAA” 13U Provincial Championship for BC Minor Baseball. After an intense summer of qualifying play, the boys needed extra innings to win a dramatic Semi-Final and had to come back from an 8-2 deficit to win 12-8 in the Final. As such the Angels are now British Columbia’s representative to the National Championships in London, Ontario, August 21 to 25.
These are wonderful young men who will represent Abbotsford and BC with sportsmanship and class. They will also play hard and set their sights on a bringing home a National Championship to add to the three Provincial Championships they have won in the last 4 years.
The costs associated with going to the National Championships are very high, yet the value of the experience is greater still. This is a wonderful opportunity for the boys to compete at an elite level and interact with players and coaches from across the country. It is also a tremendous opportunity for them to be ambassadors for their community.
We ask you to consider partnering with the team by helping to send the boys and their parents to Ontario. This is a great opportunity for you to support local youth sports and to help these fine young men spread the word about Abbotsford, BC, and your business, to the rest of Canada.
