Orioles Having Fun

The Tadpole 2 Orioles are having fun! The boys work hard at practice. They are learning more about the game every day. They are improving their skills. And they are having lots of fun doing all that.  

On Monday night the Orioles and the Blue Strikers met up at Little Delair.  Highlights included Armaan Dhaliwal hitting his first Home Run of the year on a blast down the 1st base line deep to Right Field. Always smiling, Armaan was beaming as he sprinted home!  Nolan Dochuk also went yard. Ricki Murchie was on fire, having his best game at the plate ever, including two doubles. From the top to the bottom of the order, Orioles were hitting the ball and racking up runs. Defensively the team continued to be solid. Highlights included a double play by Sammy Friess, while Ronan Sexton faced five batters, ringing up three, in a solid pitching performance. The only negative on the night came when the Orioles coach was heckled by one of his own team’s fans for what she thought was some shaky pitching during the coach-pitch innings.
