Rempel Hits Angels to Win over Surrey

The Abbotsford Peewee A summer team started their provincial qualification process on the right foot with a dominant 11-5 defeat of the Surrey Cardinals at Crossley park on Monday July 8th.
A well played game by the team was highlighted with  triples from Cameron Evans and Riley Hall while a three RBI hit by Brady Rempel  was the key hit of the game.  Defensively, the Angels set up a solid resistance with some key outfield catches by Jadon Ostrom and Max Masztalar while Marshall Bilinski and Hall were vacuuming up balls on the left side of the infield.  Luke Szmutko and Kole Jessamine both pitched solidly throughout, thwarting Surrey’s offense over the seven innings, Szmutko got the win and Jessamine the save.
