Pirates host Grant Park “Jazz” Festival

It was indeed music to the ears of the hundreds of reveling concert goers as Pirates first year sensation Jazzi Ashton serenaded the fans into a rhythmic funk.  While her chart topping single, “Swinging and a Miss’n” wasn’t received very well by the opposition, her other smash hit “Throwin Smoke” had her coaches and adorning fans crazy with jubilation.

Closing off the festival was 2nd year veteran Jakob Loewen who’s rendition of the 80’s classic “Hit me with your best shot” seemed all too appropriate as he hit the catchers glove often and hit the ball a very long ways.
