Peewee AA Pound PoCo and Smash Sunshine Coast

The Peewee AA Angels played their final home game of the year on Saturday, hosting PoCo in a battle of two teams heading to Comox for the Provincial Championships. The Angels took it in convincing fashion, 11-0 in a mercy rule win.

Kevin Kim went the distance for Abbotsford on the mound, collecting the Shut Out and the Win. On Sunday, the boys took the ferry to Gibsons to play their final game of the regular season against the Sunshine Coast.  The hosts from Ryan Dempster’s home town were no match for the Angels who earned a 12-2 mercy rule victory.

The Angels finished the Summer Season with 8 wins against only 3 losses.  The boys take another ferry this week, the longer ride across the Salish Sea for the Provincial Championships in Comox, August 1-5.
