Mosquito Playoffs Begin This Week

2013 Cup Champions,
2013 Cup Champions, the Pirates

The 2014 Mosquito Spring League Playoffs get going Monday Night as the Royals and the Mariners clash in an AL Cup Qualifier at Lions Park.  On Tuesday, action switches to NL Cup Qualifying, as the Pirates take on the Braves at Grant, and the Dodgers clash with the Phillies at Lions. All games go at 6:00 PM.

On Wednesday, the AL leading Orioles will be at Lions to face the winner of the Royals/Mariners tilt. Over at Grant, the Red Sox and the Blue Jays will play in the other AL Cup Semi-Final. On Thursday, Cup Semi-Finals take place for the NL, as the Cardinals and Nationals await the winners from Tuesday night.

While the Cup competition is single knockout, the playoffs don’t end for teams that lose. Mosquito Bowl, Plate and Shield competitions continue once teams are eliminated from a shot at the Mosquito Cup.  Stay posted for updated schedules and results from the 2014 AAHA Mosquito Playoffs.
