Hall Seals Win in the ‘Wack
The Abbotsford Angels Peewee A team continued their winning ways in provincial qualifying with a dominant 14-0 win against Chilliwack Wednesday evening. As in each of the other league games, the Angel bats were on fire early with six runs scored in the first inning, they bookended the game with another six runs in the fourth to bring the game to a merciful end after the top of the fifth inning. Again, all the way through the order, the bats were humming with the Messer twins and Max Masztalar leading the way with their consistent hitting along with Jadon Ostrom, Luke Szmutko and RIley Hall who each contributed with two hit nights. Szmutko pitched 4 2/3 solid innings shutting Chilliwack down up to the last batter when Hall came in and finished the game in three pitches with a strikeout. The Peewee A Angels now hold a 4-0 record in league play.
