Fantastic Turnout for Mosquito Field Prep Night

photo 1Thanks to all the parents who showed up on Thursday night at Lions Park for an evening of working on the Mosquito fields. Over twenty people with their rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and most importantly, their great attitudes were there to pitch in with getting the fields ready for the upcoming spring season. After working on Lions Park the team moved over to Grant Park for more work there. At the end of the night both parks were looking great.

The AAHA relies on volunteers to bring baseball to the kids of Abbotsford. Without parents contributing like they did that night, and like they do all season long, we can’t do what we do.

Also, a big thanks goes out to Ernie Wiens, who is in charge of Fields for the AAHA Executive. Ernie has been doing a fantastic job and getting this night organized was just one of many ways he has been making a huge contribution to the AAHA.

Hopefully we get a great turnout on Saturday to work on the Peewee Fields, and parents can jump on board in all the other divisions to share the workload and contribute to doing everything we can to help our kids have a great baseball experience!
