Dramatic Win On Cardoso Walk-Off Double

The PeeWee AAA team played it long time rival Cloverdale on thursday night and as every other game vs cloverdale it was as close as possible. With each team throwing their aces from the start it was a great defensive gem by both clubs with cloverdale breaking open to have a 3-1 lead after 3 innings. Cloverdale broke it open with 4 in the 4th to take a commanding lead. Cue the comeback…….. Abby came up with 3 in the bot of 6 to close to 7-4. Pitcher Noah Nickel shut the door in the top of 7 to set up a dramatic bottom of seven. Abby quickly came up with 3 runs to tie and with 2 out and kyle Stewart on third as the winning run Kaiden Cardoso came up with a 9 pitch at bat that ended with him hitting a walk off double to end the game.
