Angels Teams Set Off to Represent Abbotsford at Provincial Championships

awingThe AAHA and the city of Abbotsford will be represented by teams in seven different Provincial Championship Baseball Tournaments taking place this week and next around British Columbia.

Two Angels squads will be headed to Cloverdale Ball Park as it hosts both the Mosquito A and Mosquito AAA tournaments. Both Mosquito teams qualified with 5-1 records.

The Peewee A team is headed to the Championships hosted by the Surrey Canadians, after a fantastic 7-0 qualifying record. The Peewee AA Angels are in Comox this weekend, having qualified with an 8-3 record, while the Peewee AAA Angels squad head to Prince George, next weekend, sporting an 8-2 win loss tally.

After winning their final game of the season, the Bantam AA team are Okanagan bound, having finished at 5-5 and earning the final spot for the Championships in Rutland.  Finally, the interior is also the destination for the Bantam AAA Angels. The Abbotsford lads head to the Championships in Kamloops with a 27-12 record.
