Mosquito AAA Tier 2 Angels make the most of 4 hits in 5-2 victory over Port Coquitlam
Abbotsford and Port Coquitlam both put few runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Angels that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-2 win Wednesday night at Lions Park.
The Angels were led by Jackson Krahn’s hitting, as he went 2-2 with 1 RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning. Port Coquitlam’s lineup had no answer for Brady Fehlauer, as they managed just one hit off of the Angels pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out 5 batters during his 2 innings of work. Four Abbotsford pitchers combined to strike out 11 Port Coquitlam batters.
The win improves the Angels’ record to 4 wins 1 loss in league play.
