The Angels took on the Mission Twins on Wednesday night at Lions Park. Many of the boys looked tired having played the night before, and they trailed Mission 11-4 heading into their last at bat. With the capacity crowd watching every pitch, the Angels sent 11 batters to the plate and put up 8 runs in the sixth inning to come from behind and beat Mission 12-11, sending the crowd into a frenzy! The Angels trailed by 1 run when David “Mr. Clutch” Krahn stepped to the plate and with 2 outs, he delivered a 2 run single scoring Caden Dahlen and Matthew Share to win the game for the Angels.

Five Angels pitchers combined to strike out 13 Mission batters, and Brady Fehlauer pitched 3 1/3 strong innings, striking out 8 Mission batters. Jackson Krahn and Tait Lee led the Angels offense with 3 hits each.

The Angels have a 3-1 league record after 4 games, and face Port Coquitlam team next Wednesday at Lions Park. Come out and cheer on the boys!
