Angel Honoured at BC Baseball Awards Banquet

The BC Baseball Coaches Convention took place on the weekend and was a great success. One of the highlights of the event every year is the BC Baseball Awards Banquet, and a highlight this year for the AAHA was the recognition of Luke Szmutko as the MVP of the John Main Tournament.

The John Main is one of the big events of the 13U Season. The Angels won the Tournament, part of a huge year that saw them win the Valley of Champions Tournament, the Peewee AAA Provincial Championships and a Silver Medal at the Canada Baseball 13u National Championships. Luke Szmutko led the way in the John Main and was one of the most dangerous weapons in the Angels batting order all year long, knocking out monster home runs at a remarkable pace. Congratulations to Luke for being recognized at the Awards Banquet for his John Main Tournament MVP.
