13U Peewee AA Tryouts
Groups and times for Spring Pee Wee AA tryouts are listed below. They will be held at the Cardinals Training Facility on Delair Road.
Please come dressed in baseball attire. Bring your own Glove, Bat and Helmet. We may also be outside, so dress for the weather.
Some cuts will be made after the second session, the remaining players will be invite back for further evaluations on Feb 27 & 28 with the final cuts made after the 28th. Players that are released from the Try-out process will be put into evaluation groups for the Pee Wee A evaluations.
Following the tryouts, approximately 24 players will be selected to make up 2 balanced teams that will represent Abbotsford in the Spring Interlock schedule against the other Lower Mainland Associations. As well, the teams may choose to play in a few tournaments. Throughout the Spring season, all players will be continually monitored for their skills, abilities and progress. From this group, players will be selected for the Summer AAA team and the others will form the Summer AA team. Therefore, the AAHA is looking for a commitment from these players and families from April 1 through to the middle of August.
Both the Spring and Summer seasons will see the teams practicing at minimum twice per week and having 2-3 games per week. Travelling with these teams may include trips to Vancouver Island and to the Interior.
This is a large commitment and one that may not work for all players and families, if this is the case please let us know as soon as possible.
