Thanks to Everyone Who Made All-Star Saturday a Success
The Mosquito division of the AAHA would like to express their extreme gratitude to MVP Sports, Prostock Athletic Supply and the rest of the AAHA for their amazing and on-going support year after year of the All-Star Day events. If it were not for their generosity we would not have had all the excellent prizes, medals and trophies.
We would also like to thank the following businesses for their wonderful support of the event as well: Davis Meats / The Mad Butcher / and Canadian Springs. There are precious few dollars available to make these events successful, and the canteen is a vital part of the event, and because these companies supported the event / canteen we were able to successfully cover the cost of the food needed through their donation and cost recovery. This type of business and community support is such an essential part of the success of the event.
We would also like to throw out a few special notes of thanks to a few people who were also hugely important to the success of the day. Pam Robinson for having the guts to take on one of the toughest jobs at the event (the canteen), her efforts in coordinating the canteen from start to finish were very much appreciated. Tania Taylor for her invaluable assistance in making the Canteen a true success before during and after the event; and to Brian and Brandy Baines for their tireless efforts behind the canteen counter and the barbeque. Cam Friesen for once again loaning out, setting up and taking down his amazing sound system which absolutely makes the event! Abbotsford’s own Nicole Sumerlyn, fresh off the heels of her new single release on iTunes (Let’s Get Country), for her beautiful singing of the national anthem and last but not least all the coaches and parent volunteers for giving up their own time to make this day a special one for our children.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Once again it is important to acknowledge the countless hours and endless enthusiasm that Richard Rabinovitch poured into the organization of All-Star Saturday. He was the man behind the whole event. Thanks Rich!
