Silver at USA Nationals

The Bantam AAA Angels are coming home with a silver medal from the GameDay USA 15u National Championships in Milwaukee. The Angels fought hard winning their quarter final 4-1, and their semi final 4-3 on Sunday to set up the final vs the Wisconsin Panthers. The game was tight but the Panthers picked away slowly and came away with a 7-3 win. The Angels held their own, despite playing on a bigger field, and using wood bats where all others used metal. Their pitching and defence were stellar as usual and with a couple of timely hits this might have went their way. Up next for the Angels is the provincials in White Rock August long weekend.
