Peewee A Angels Win Mission Ice Breaker Tournament

The 13U Pee Wee A (Black) Angels had a very successful weekend, winning the Mission Pee Wee A Ice Breaker tournament.

The Angels advanced to the finals outscoring their opponents 29-8.  However, in the final game vs. Chilliwack, the Angels were down 2-1 heading to their last at bats, and their bats finally came alive scoring 4 runs.  Mattias Meleg closed out the victory by striking out the side, and he also won the MVP of the tournament.

The Angels brought home more medals on the weekend, winning the team Pitching accuracy contest and the fastest team Base Running contest.  Most importantly, the team also won the Most Sportsmanlike Team award.
