Cardinals Double the Braves

The Cardinals doubled the Braves on Tuesday night after both teams “braved” a rainy start. There was some excellent displays of first year pitching guns by Cardinals Sammy Friess and Diego Peranio. Both young first years held back the charge of the Braves in great form. This was answered by some excellent pitching by Braves first year Charlie Visser. But a bases loaded triple and a bases loaded double by Nick Rabinovitch, followed by two shut out innings pitched by Aidan Koetsier was too much for the Braves to come back from.

Two other highlights in the game were put on by Braves Jayden Wells who put together an unassisted double play and some excellent strike out power shown by Brendan Bussiere.

Both teams displayed great heart and spirit in the terrible weather and managed to get a full 6 inning in.
