Boulanger Tournament: AAA Tier 2

The Abbotsford Angels Mosquito Tier 2 team improved to 1-1 at the Cloverdale Tournament with a solid 14-8 win over Burnaby Sunday morning at Cloverdale Athletic Park.

The Angels had solid pitching and hitting to get the victory. Josh was named player of the game with strong pitching and a spectacular sliding catch in left field in the bottom of the first inning.

Zach Kramer hit his second home run of the tournament in his first plate appearance in the top of the first inning. Peter Choi was the “Pita Pit” player of the game with strong catching, including throwing out of a runner at second in the third inning, and a 3-for-3 day at the plate.

Abbotsford will now play the Cloverdale at 4 p.m. In game three of the tournament. The tournament concludes Monday afternoon.
