Ball Hit To Neptune
Pirates 14
Mariners 8
Report: The Pirates continued their winning streak on Thursday evening against the mighty Mariners of the American League. It was Coach Rabinovitch Bobble-Head night at Grant Park as the first 6,000 fans received the door-opener keepsakes. It was a great see-saw battle in the early going as both sides competed hard for the 4-run tap-out rule. For the Pirates, Tanraj Marjara had a particularly strong game with 2 tight innings of pitching and strong bats. The Mariners Kayden Holeczek launched a ball so far that Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield took notice on the International Space Station.
