Angels Romp Over Kelowna

AAHA ANGELS AAA TIER one MOSQUITO 11U refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Kelowna, recording a 15-4 victory on Saturday at Rutland.

The game was decided quickly as AAHA ANGELS AAA TIER one MOSQUITO 11U exerted its will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.

A sacrifice fly by David Draayers, an RBI single by Treyson Smith, an RBI single by Josh Siemens, and an RBI single by Jordan Epp during the first inning and a two-run error, a wild pitch, and a passed ball in the second inning supplied the early offense for AAHA ANGELS AAA TIER one MOSQUITO 11U.

Mikey Milne racked up two RBIs on one hit for AAHA ANGELS AAA TIER one MOSQUITO 11U. He singled in the fourth inning.

Sam Jones recorded the win for AAHA ANGELS AAA TIER one MOSQUITO 11U. He allowed four runs over one inning. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered three hits.

Kelowna quickly matched AAHA ANGELS AAA TIER one MOSQUITO 11U’s strong inning with a four-run inning of its own in the first. Kelowna scored on an RBI double by #88 and a three-run double by #9.
