Angels Hammer Mission

Another beautiful sunny day at Lions Park had the Mosquito A’s in great spirits and ready to bounce back hard after a squeaker, bottom of the 6th one point loss on their previous game; and bounce back hard they did. Unfortunately for Mission, they were in the path of the steam roller. Our boys finished Mission off with a 16-2 victory that was highlighted by strong pitching from Jack Taylor, Aidan Koetsier, and Jack Neill. Every single player got on base and were running like machines. There was great hitting highlighted by an in-the-park homerun from Nick Rabinovitch with two on base. There was also some great fielding highlighted by an outstanding throw from Center field to first by Jack Taylor that beat the runner. There was also a timely play late in the game with a line drive hit to Dakota Janzen at third base which came out of his arm like a bullet and into the first baseman’s glove. Finally, the great game that was capped off with some fabulous Birchwood Dairy Ice Cream! What more could you ask for!
