Angels Finish Summer Sched with Win in Vancouver

The Peewee AAA Angels travelled to Nanaimo Park and came away with a 7-3 victory over Vancouver Minor. The win was built on a 7 run 2nd inning.  Other than that the Abby bats were quiet.  Starter Conall Sexton struck out 7 over 3 innings, while Kevin Kim came in and cranked it up even more, striking out 11 of 12 in 4 innings.

On Saturday the boys beat Nanaimo 8-2.  With the pair of weekend victories the team finishes the summer season of Provincial Qualifying with 11 wins against 2 losses. The team now prepares for the Provincial Championships coming up in Cloverdale.
